I was a junior in college and walked into my 2nd class of the day to see footage of a plane hitting the first tower. The whole class sat in silence together and just watched in fear and confusion, not really knowing what else to do.

We Remember: The 25th Anniversary of 9/11

Twenty-five years have passed since the September 11 attacks, yet the memories remain deeply etched in our hearts. On that tragic day, nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost, families were forever changed, and the world witnessed unimaginable sorrow.

Today, we remember every person who never made it home, the courageous first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless individuals who offered comfort, hope, and help. Their bravery and sacrifice remind us that even in humanity’s darkest moments, love and unity can still shine.

As we commemorate this solemn anniversary, may we honor the victims by choosing compassion over hatred, peace over violence, and unity over division.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember their names, their stories, and the lives they touched.

Scientists believe T. Rex was likely covered in feathers or proto-feathers, making it biologically closer to a modern bird than to the reptilian monster most people picture. The closest living relative of the T. Rex is the chicken.

It was essentially a 9-ton, feathered, two-legged predator with a skull the size of a bathtub. The chicken comparison makes it sound cute. The actual animal was anything but.
