I dedicate this post to all the dreamers out there! THIS IS FOR YOU! Follow our page for more!
We got a break last night and let the girls take over! 🤣🥰
This is honestly one of the most unexpected and meaningful parts of starting this business. 🥹💚🩷 Yes, the adults get excited. They tell us how cute the camper is, compliment the colors, take pictures, and get just as excited as we do every time we pull it out. And we absolutely LOVE that.
But the kids… THE KIDS. 🥹
I cannot tell you how many little ones have asked, “Can I see inside?” And once they get inside, suddenly they’re not just looking anymore—they’re running the trailer. 😂🍋
They’re pretending to take orders.
They’re “making” lemonades.
They’re handing out drinks.
They’re playing cashier.
They’re running their very own little business.
And we’re just standing there watching them play… but here’s the thing:
It’s not just play. It’s real life.
It has made me realize how much kids can learn through something as simple as pretending. The lemonade stands we play at home, the little businesses they dream up, the things they pretend to sell and create—those are the same skills they’re now seeing come to life inside our trailer.
They’re learning to communicate.
They’re learning customer service.
They’re learning how money works.
They’re learning confidence.
They’re learning how a business operates.
And most importantly, they’re learning that an idea can actually become something real.
That has been one of the most eye-opening parts of this entire journey for us. 🥹
The Happy Hour Hitch started as an idea, but watching these kids get so excited about the experience of running the trailer has made me realize that maybe we’re creating more than just a place to grab a dirty soda.
Maybe we’re creating a little space where kids can dream. 💚🩷
And honestly… that might be my favorite part of all. 🥹🍋🛻✨
