🎉 40 Years Rolling... and 40 Years Connecting Our Community! 🚌💙

Congratulations to OmniRide on celebrating 40 incredible years of keeping our community moving! This milestone is so special they're celebrating TWICE—and we hope you'll join the fun in both Woodbridge and Manassas! 😊

As part of the celebration, OmniRide will be collecting food donations for Northern Virginia Food Rescue. While OmniRide is known for connecting people through reliable public transit, they also connect our community through their generosity and commitment to giving back.

Every donated item helps provide nutritious food to our neighbors while reducing food waste across the Greater Prince William region.

Come celebrate 40 years of service, community, and connection—and if you're able, bring a food donation to help us feed local families. Together, we're building a stronger, more connected community.

The Mobile Market is open today from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Potomac Branch Library 🍎🥦🌽🥕🥬

Over the past year, PWCFC has had the privilege of working alongside some incredible community partners to help develop and champion this initiative, with the goal of reducing barriers to accessing fresh, nutritious food for families throughout Prince William County.

We’re especially excited that these mobile markets will continue expanding across both sides of the county over the next year. Bringing them to our public libraries was an intentional part of the vision. Libraries are trusted, welcoming community spaces that are often located along public transit routes, making them ideal locations to increase access while helping reduce the stigma that can sometimes be associated with receiving food assistance.

The PWCFC is deeply grateful to our partners for believing in this vision and for the dedication they’ve shown in bringing it to fruition. Their commitment to serving our community is what has made this possible.

This is what meaningful collaboration looks like—neighbors, organizations, and institutions coming together to create lasting solutions that make healthy food more accessible for everyone.

Please join the Prince William County Food Council for its next monthly meeting on June 25th at 1:00 p.m. via MS Teams. Our meetings are open to the public and all PWC residents, agency representatives and community partners are encouraged to attend.

PWC Hunger Free 2026 raises over $10k to feed communities in need.

A Saturday rally and food drive at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas raised upward of $10,000 to feed the greater Prince William County community, with residents and officials from the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park lending a hand in the joint effort.

The second annual PWC Hunger Free event, served as an impactful food drive, advocacy, and awareness initiative. Various community groups, non-profits, local agencies, service providers, and residents united to raise funds and donate food to several PWC pantries. The PWCFC prioritizes reducing barriers to food access for all community members. We encourage those who haven't yet participated to consider joining the food council, as your perspective is essential.
