Long days mean puppy snuggles 🤍

Ember is my LAST purebred Scottish Collie puppy available. She is a sable Merle. She is as sweet and gentle as they come. Perfect pet/best friend quality where she wants to just be snuggled and by you at all times. She is not as gritty/sport compared to her sisters at this time, but that absolutely could change with the right handler, otherwise I see her being someone’s best friend/show dog.

Proven working parents in service work as well as farm dogs.

These are super high quality dogs and I will be super selective in where she is placed as she is showing that she is breeding quality so far.

Let’s talk horse community.. but not in the way you think 💙

When you support me and my business, you’re not just supporting one person. You’re supporting a whole inter-web of businesses.

By supporting me, you’re supporting my hay guys and suppliers which allows them to pay their help.

You’re giving my farriers more work so they can then go support small farrier businesses buying supplies and pay for their help.

You’re supporting my veterinarians so they can pay their bills and vet techs to keep their small businesses open.

You’re giving my body workers more income so they can continue to work on horses vs have to change careers.

You’re giving my haulers more horses to move to allow them to stay on the road and make their sacrifices away from their families worth it.

You’re paying for my stall cleaners to come and keep the barn perfect and giving them side work in this tough economy.

You’re paying for my assistant trainer to be allowed to give me time and get your horse the best that it absolutely can be.

By supporting me, you’re taking care of a whole community and keeping lights on for so many folks.

Small businesses supporting small businesses is absolutely the only way to go and I’m so blessed to be a part of the community. My little barn supports so many different individuals and we’re so proud of that.

Golden Oak Farms is proud to announce that our next little adventurers are on the way 💙

We are excited to welcome a true preservation bred Scottish Collie litter, expected June 7th.

Our dam, Golden Oak Farms London, is an exceptional, athletic female who excels in service dog work while also serving as an everyday farm companion and guardian. She is highly intuitive and versatile, confidently working cattle, goats, and sheep with ease. At a perfect “pocket-sized” 45 pounds, London combines elegance, intelligence, and work ethic in one beautiful package. Originally imported from Nova Scotia at just four months old, she has continued to impress everyone who meets her with her gentle temperament, loyalty, and natural ability to work. She is well known in the horse community and has consistently been a loyal friend to everyone.

The sire, K9Planet King Blu of Windy Acres, “Giovanni”, is a proven producer whose 27 puppies have consistently inherited his outstanding temperament and steady disposition. Giovanni represents everything true old-school collies are known for: loyalty, companionship, gentleness, and dependable farm instincts. He is exceptionally kind with children, horses, goats, and anyone he encounters. On the farm, he naturally gathers goats back to their pen and keeps watch over them from wandering predators. Those who meet Giovanni quickly fall in love with his calm, affectionate, and deeply trustworthy nature.

This pairing represents two exceptional dogs with outstanding temperaments, instinct, and versatility. As one of the final litters for both parents, this breeding is especially meaningful to us, and we are honored to bring these lines together.

We anticipate this litter to produce wonderful prospects for service work, active family companions, and capable farm and working dogs alike. Our waitlist is officially open ❤️ located in Woodford VA.

We cannot wait to share this journey with all of you once again!

As a Mother’s Day present to all my four legged horses, we finally have a proper arena and put sand in it ❤️ can’t wait to share the final project with you all.

Can’t thank Marcus Greymont enough for running equipment ALL weekend with me to level, pack, and widen our arena.

Growing our business this past few years wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our community.

Stay tuned, so much more has been happening on the farm that we can’t wait to share 😉

Hey everyone! A quick PSA about how our sales program operates so expectations are clear from the start 🩷

Things We Do Not Do

-We do not offer offsite trials or “2-week trials” on any sale horses.
-We do not offer care leases on sale horses unless explicitly stated in the listing.
-We do not hold horses without a deposit.
-We do not mark a horse as sold without a signed agreement and deposit in place.
-We do not rush buyers into decisions, but we can’t hold a horse for someone to “think about it.” We represent our sellers too and they need clarity.
-We do not guarantee suitability in any way shape or form especially for a job the horse has not been trained or advertised to do.
-We do not hide maintenance, quirks, or history, full transparency is part of our program.

Things We Do Do ❤️💅🏻

-We ask questions and play matchmaker, because what you want and what you need aren’t always the same, and that’s okay! This is our job, and we take it seriously.
-We care about both the horse and the buyer, even after the sale. There is no such thing as too many questions once your horse is home. Please reach out, we want to help with the transition.
-We absolutely allow PPEs and vettings at the buyer’s expense.
-We are happy to provide additional photos, videos, ride footage, and additional information upon request.
-We are honest about a horse’s current level of training, strengths, and limitations, always ❤️
-We will help coordinate shipping and communicate with your hauler if needed.
-We keep communication open, clear, and timely throughout the buying process, just a message or call away! This is important to us to ensure you’re completely comfortable and happy with your decisions.
-We stand behind our horses and our reputation, what you see is what you get. There’s no fluff in this, you’ll meet what you’re expecting every single time, perhaps even better 👏🏼

My programs goal is simple: finding these incredible animals homes that are dedicated and deserving of them. Heart horses finding heart people ❤️
