HALF of a batch of 14 outdoor knives I’m currently working on. These will be ready for the Art On Main festival in downtown Ball Ground on September 12-13.

Nine made from 80crv2 high carbon and five made from 5160 high carbon steel. Twelve with some GRORGEOUS stabilized hardwood handles from Rob’s Wild Wood and two with some very special custom epoxy handles from 285 Woodworks. They’re all going to be bangers and you can get the first at Art on Main. I hope to see you there!

The final hidden tang chef from the most recent batch of four that I just wrapped up. This 8” Koda Blade Honey Bee profile is hand-made from AEB-L stainless steel and paired with a gorgeous and super-comfy handle made from some stunning stabilized walnut and black micarta ferrule. I used this sweet cheffy to prep dinner last night and it just fell straight through the veggies… an absolute laser! Hitting the site this weekend, get it before it’s gone!

Maybe one of my favorite chef knives I’ve made to date. This beauty is an eight inch k-tip style chef, super light and thin. Made from AEB-L stainless steel and with an unbelievable dyed + stabilized hardwood handle with natural linen micarta ferrule. Man, oh man I love this knife!

I am in love with this new chef knife. Eight inch AEB-L stainless steel KBC Hornet with an absolutely devastating blue-dyed yellow cedar burl stabilized hardwood handle and a super-slick natural linen micarta ferrule. I have a soft spot in my heart for blue & brown color combos. Hitting the website soon, this one is going to be hard to let go of!

Back in May, I attended the Blue Ridge Arts In the Park Festival. I sold a chef knife with a beautiful two-toned spalted mango handle with a black micarta ferrule.

Soon after, the owner reached out and asked me to make a similar knife for his daughter as a housewarming gift to commemorate her new home in New York.

I just finished up this new AEB-L stainless steel chef knife with a gorgeous spalted mango handle from to match the original. I’m really happy with how it turned out and I can’t wait to see it in the hands of its new owner.
