So, crazy story… sometimes we GET OUT of the kitchen, lose our hats and aprons, and get FANCY! This time, it was because one of our KIDS was getting MARRIED!!! This past weekend, Lunch Lady Kate earned a new title… Mother-in-Law! We could not possibly be more excited for her! 😍🥰🫶🏼

Okay, hear us out… we *know* that these aren’t a traditional cookie… but is there a better way to bite into summer break?! These lemon bars are tangy, sweet, and oh so very fresh that after your first bite, you’ll forget about that. Fresh squeezed lemon juice, fresh zest, from-scratch buttery shortbread crust… there is NO better treat to round out the school year… Pop into The 10:31 and get yours before summer break!

The Tacky Tourists of the 10:31

•Mrs. Workman made waffles for 5.5 hours - batter remnants *might* be found for days.

•Mrs. Jagger cooked 45 pounds of bacon - 4 strips were left.

•Mrs. Coblentz wore socks with flip flops and Mr. Coblentz swim trunks.

•Mrs. Buzzard walked into chaos…no small feat after teaching preschoolers all morning.

180ish lunches might be a record, and we might not serve waffles again until 2037. Actually, we already have a plan for next time, because if you aren’t doing the most, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

Congratulations to our 14U Eagles!
The very first WCS baseball team celebrated their very first WIN on Monday, defeating Orrville 14-10. The boys swung by this afternoon to pick up a victory cookie made by the Lunch Ladies of The 10:31. Keep working hard, guys, we’re cheering for you! ⚾️🧢

Today we pause. Today we pray for a miracle for Maddox!!! Today we pray for courage and strength for our Wooster friends. Today we support one of our own Lunch Ladies as she walks with her son and his teammates through a heartbreaking situation.

Please join us in prayer for the Graser family, the Wooster Baseball Team, and all of the people affected by this devastating situation.

Homemade croutons are a standard in the 10:31. They are delicious and a GREAT way to save on food cost by using up extra bread and buns… and here’s another Pro-Tip for ya- set a timer when you pop them in the oven…. 😂😜
