Eve's Cheese is a joint venture between two families who wanted to provide a value added product to the community. The company was formed in 2001 to do just this. Eve’s Cheese is made with milk from Fawnwood Farm, a fourth generation Kent County family farm. The cows at Mason’s Fawnwood Farm graze on rich Eastern Shore farmland just minutes west of Chestertown. The farm’s herd is primarily compris

ed of Jersey & Holstein cows, although Ayrshires, Brown Swiss and Milking Shorthorn are found on the farm. This mixture of cows gives Eve’s Cheese its unique flavor and unsurpassed quality. Only grade A milk is used to make Eve’s Cheese. The milk contains no antibiotics or chemical compounds to increase milk production. This quality milk is transported to an Amish cheesemaker, who handcrafts the milk into Eve’s Cheese. Eve’s Cheese is not mass produced, instead the emphasis is placed on producing a quality cheese at a reasonable price. Cheese is available for sale retail and wholesale.

What a night to finally recognize our Mid-Atlantic Master Farmers for 2020 and 2021! There were laughs, lots of stories told and some tears shed, but it was great to finally get together and show these Master Farmers the recognition they deserve! Don't forget to nominate your 2022 Master Farmers. Deadline for nominations is Jan. 1!

Waltz Family Farm is back this Saturday with Beef, Pork, and Lamb products, as well as Eve's Cheese.

With cooler temperatures setting in, ground meat for chili, and roasts for slow cooking are just some of the comfort foods on our shopping lists this weekend.
