So for all those who don’t understand the level of destruction by wildlife in a farmers crop. These are 2 fields right next to each other. Same soil types and same weather pattern. Together they are about 70 acres. These are our yield maps from last years soybeans. We need 40 bu just to break even. Where you don’t see any color…we’ll just imagine red. So poor we didn’t try to harvest. The field on the left is surrounded by woods and very easy to see the level of damage. To complicate the situation, is the policy set by RMA. If we do not at make an attempt to eliminate some of the deer pressure, we can be denied crop insurance payment. So we are encouraging all hunters to please start harvesting more does and if your a hunter looking for a place to meat hunt, please feel free to reach out. I’m sure we can find a spot for you

Just had a small spot to clean up where we put in a piece of field drain tile…got to bring out the ole classic combo. So thankful for where it all started ❤️
