One year in—and we’re still at the beginning.

Right now, this is land and vision.
Blueprints in progress. Plans being finalized. Built slowly, legally, and with care.

Our focus is comfort: hand-woven aroma quilts, nourishing food in mason jars, herbal support, and a quiet, private farm setting designed for healing and creative work.

Some things take time.
We’re writing this one carefully.

A new year invites us to pause, breathe, and begin again.
This short slide video is a gentle reminder that fresh chapters don’t require perfection—only presence, hope, and a willingness to keep moving forward.

May this year bring lighter days, steady growth, small joys, and renewed belief in what’s possible. Wherever you are on your path, you’re allowed to start where you stand and carry only what truly matters.

From all of us at Threaded Hollow, we wish you a year filled with warmth, clarity, and quiet strength.

This video is a pause between endings and beginnings.
A desert night. A moment of stillness.
A reminder that strength doesn’t rush—and healing doesn’t shout.

For anyone entering the new year tired, hopeful, or quietly determined:
you’re allowed to rest, and you’re allowed to rise steady.

Go build what matters.
The ground will be ready when you return.

Threaded Hollow Website Update!
Hey friends and family—quick update! I’ve added several new resources to the site this week:
*NASA “Cells in Space” video—an amazing look at how science works beyond Earth
*Smithsonian Mosquito Citizen Science Guide—a hands-on project for exploring ecology
*Biology Enzyme Simulation—a virtual lab for learning how reactions work
*“Lost in Curiosity” science storytelling book – field stories from real researchers
And… I’ve officially added a new subpage focused on healing through nature, weaving, photography, and small-farm life. This one means a lot to me, and I’m excited to keep building it.
More updates coming soon as Threaded Hollow grows piece by piece!

The meadowhawk dragonfly, photographed at Malad Grove / Thousand Springs State Park, Idaho, reminds us of the delicate balance of life, the vibrancy of the natural world, and the fleeting yet precious moments we are gifted. May its flight inspire your spirit to move freely, see clearly, and embrace every possibility.

May this swan ring out like a bell of hope, giving wings to healing and stitching community one story at a time.

Every expert was once a beginner—just like every canyon was once a crack in the earth.
The Malad River carved this gorge over centuries, reminding us that persistence, patience, and small steps shape greatness.

Taken at Thousand Springs State Park: Malad Gorge Unit in Hagerman, Idaho.

Whether you’re weaving, healing, farming, or simply trying again today—remember: you’re not behind, you’re becoming.

From two panels on the loom to one blanket of hope — this reel is more than thread and fiber. It’s a reminder that healing takes time, comfort is worth creating, and dreams can be carried into reality. Each stitch is a step, each fact a connection to the past, and each word a little light for your journey.

Don’t let your dreams be dreams.

The Northern Mockingbird is more than a beautiful voice — it’s a survivor, a teacher, and a symbol of resilience. These incredible birds can mimic hundreds of sounds, defend their territory with fearless energy, and sing through every season. In their call, we can hear a lesson: keep learning, keep protecting what matters, and never stop sharing your song.

I’m honored to share that I made the Dean’s List for January–June 2025.

This recognition means a lot—not just for the grades, but for the journey. Every paper I turned in, every class I showed up to, I carried more than textbooks. I carried purpose, dreams, late nights, and the hopes of a farm not yet built, but deeply rooted in my heart.

Thank you to those who’ve supported me behind the scenes—through stitching breaks, wild ideas, and gentle reminders to rest. Your encouragement kept me going more than you know.

I’m walking this path step by step, seed by seed. Learning how to better serve the land, the animals, my family, and the future I believe in.

This isn’t the destination. Just a milestone on the trail.
With a grateful heart, I’ll keep going.

There’s something timeless in the bond between a momma goat and her little one—soft nuzzles, steady warmth, that unspoken promise of “I’ve got you.”

This moment was captured back on July 31, 2022, at Dabell Family Farm in Crossville, Tennessee. Though their farming journey has since ended, their love for the land still echoes in scenes like this—quiet, powerful, enduring.

“Our land is like a poem, in a patchwork landscape of other poems, written by hundreds of people, both those here now and the many hundreds who came before us, with each generation adding new layers of meaning and experience.”
– James Rebanks

May this image honor not only their chapter, but the many verses written by hands before ours, and the ones still to come.

In the quiet rhythm of thread and fabric, there’s a deeper lesson unfolding…
"The best way out is always through." — Robert Frost

This seahorse silhouette is part of a blackwork border for one of our aroma blankets—stitched with intention, breath, and healing hands. Blackworking isn’t just a style—it’s a story of endurance, symmetry, and centuries-old wisdom stitched into every line.

Each stitch reminds us: we don’t escape the hard parts—we move through them. Just like thread must pierce the cloth to create beauty, we grow by pressing forward. One stitch. One moment. One breath at a time.

Let your hands be steady, your spirit brave, and your patterns filled with purpose.
