First winter hike along a frozen seaside, with the Baltic wind cutting through at –6°C. Ice underfoot, salt in the air, and silence all around. After the hike, something warm was needed. First December zander session on the kayak in –4°C and deep morning fog.
Chilly weather, frozen gear, and slow winter bites, but the adventure was absolutely worth it. Kayaking in December always brings a special atmosphere — quiet waters, low visibility and full concentration on the sonar.

A cold autumn morning, thick fog drifting across the lake, and my third attempt at this spot finally pays off. Fishing from the kayak, I manage to hook into both a pike and a zander in truly atmospheric conditions. Short but intense moments that make fall fishing unforgettable.

An early autumn morning greeted me with thick fog drifting across the lake — perfect conditions for a calm yet thrilling kayak fishing session. As the sun slowly broke through, predator fish began to move, and the action started to build.

During this trip, I managed to hook into a solid pike and a beautiful zander, both striking aggressively in the chilly fall water. Using my kayak allowed me to move quietly, read the structure, and target active fish right beneath the mist.
