Rosy pink ombré blooms with gold tips and all the petals! What’s not to love?! This is Hillier Tanunda - another new to us dahlia this season - and I really love her. 🩷 She’s a mini formal decorative which works very well in bouquets, but despite her smaller size, has petals for days and looks amazing from all angles! Check out those swirly petals in the back!

Hi, I’m Chelsea and I love playing with flowers! 💐 And as it turns out, my better half loves taking photos, especially if it involves me and flowers! So I guess it works pretty well. 😉

I really wanted to showcase Mellum Nina in a hand-tied spiral bouquet, bringing out her creamy lavender undertones with a palette of purples and bright greens. The queen (Mellum Nina, not me 😂) needed a little drama so we brought out the mood lighting and I really love the result!

I really love the idea of using a “meadowscape” arrangement to showcase what is blooming on the farm at this point in the season! In early summer, the roses take center stage but the sweet peas are in full bloom and all of the daisies and wildflowers are popping up on the edges of the woods. The rosy blush, golden honey and cream tones are offset by pops of tangerine gem Geum and purple salvia - just enough to create a touch of the wildness of a meadow. 🌿🌸

The first dahlia bloom of our 2026 season has arrived and she sure is a special one! This plant has been growing inside in our propagation room for months now and it’s just so cool to see such a perfect first bloom under those controlled conditions. Absolutely worth the wait… and the hype! Mellum Nina is a queen. ✨

I love the light and the way it plays with flowers! ✨ We tried to capture the soft golden glow of summer solstice sundown illuminating the abundance of soft pink and purple June garden blooms.

These photos were taking with a Helios 58mm manual focus lens from the 60’s. I love how it captures the light with its signature dramatic lens flare and an organic, swirly background blur. The vintage feel it brings to video is really fun too!

Flower seasons are fleeting - the peonies are here and then they are gone! Same with the poppies although I love using the pods for the rest of the year. Just before the storms hit two weeks ago I picked the last of both and played around with a bridal style bouquet with this unusual combination of color: blush, mauve and deep burgundy 💕 Poppies have a reputation for not lasting in arrangements but these ‘Lauren’s Grape’ gave me two days before they gave up their petals!
