We FINALLY have a water source back on the homestead other than rain barrels and hauling it in. One of our older neighbor gentlemen spent almost a month coming down in his free time and would dig for hours at a time trying to locate the water line we knew was on the property from the well, but no one could find it. Well, yesterday afternoon we decided to change directions on where we were digging and go the opposite way. He found the line within 2 ft 🥲🥲🤣 so I played in a 4 ft deep trench filled with red clay mud for a few hours to get everything drained cleaned cut the broken line and plumb into it with a new main line and spigot. We have been having him haul in water for us several hundred gallons at a time and using rain catchment barrels since mid-May so to say we are excited to be back on a well is an understatement. Now the fun of running all the indoor plumbing as we continue to build the house and then tapping into our new line. But at least all I have to do in the meantime is walk a few feet and turn a hose on lol
