As I was watching the sun set last night after a wonderful day of all things lavender at the, Lavender Days Event in yerington, I was able to think about each person who stopped by. It’s more than just a sell for me. It’s the chats I have with the new and loyal community that has been built throughout the years. I haven’t been to many events lately, and to know that you come back to my booth is so humbling. I appreciate every single conversation and contribution back to Deeply Rooted so that I can continue to make this business thrive. Thank you for keeping me busy and making more product. I sold out of most items yesterday, and my booth kept getting smaller and smaller. 🌿🤍

A huge shout out to my helpers yesterday, Jase & my butta ball. Thank you for unloading and loading the booth for me, along with popping in and out throughout the day to make sure I was hydrated and fed 😏

See you all at the next event, which will be the Candy Dance in Genoa, at the end of September!

Rosemary- such a wonderful herb to pair with lavender. Rosemary is the herb I go to when I need calm. (Funny how it’s not lavender huh) Brushing my hands through the plant leaves a lasting distinct smell that brings peace when things feel a little chaotic. 🤍🌿

Another great use for Rosemary is hair health. I spray Rosemary Hydrosol in my hair after every shower. I no longer use conditioner, and haven’t since May. It is also great on the skin, just like lavender.

Rosemary has antibacterial, antifungal, & antiviral compounds found within. The pure essential oil can be used for so many things. Adding a carrier oil is very important due to how strong it is.

Along with all of Deeply Rooted’s Lavender Products, you can purchase FRESH Rosemary for cooking, the hydrosol, and essential oil tomorrow from 10-4 at the Lavender Days event, in Yerington, at the Lyon County Fairgrounds big barn.

It’s beginning to look a lot like spring time 🎶 🌿

Nevada is in its third winter right now, most of us on my feed already know that though. It’s been chilly!!! The lavender gets confused, but is resilient unlike my tulips or irises. (Sad spring for them) This year our winter was strange, and warmer with fewer storms and not a lot of moisture, but time keeps ticking. I do believe myself and other lavender growers will have an earlier bloom this year. We shall see.

It’s Earth Day today, and my Grammys birthday.. we got some rain and hail in the valley, which pretty much kept my bees inside clustering. It’s always so pretty when it storms here. Today, one side of the valley was sunny while the other side was pouring rain. All of these photos were taken at the same time, and you can see the difference in the sky. The third photo is facing North, while the others are facing East.
