I am happy to announce that not only will I have 100% Pure Nevada Lavender oil harvested & distilled by me at the — I will also have 100% Pure Nevada Rosemary oil and 100% Rosemary Hydrosol available for purchase as well. It’s been fun to learn all things Rosemary throughout the years, and watch it grow after I found the perfect cultivar for this region. This powerful herb works wonders, just like Lavender… and it’s exciting I get to share it with you all. 🌿 🤍

It’s beginning to look a lot like spring time 🎶 🌿

Nevada is in its third winter right now, most of us on my feed already know that though. It’s been chilly!!! The lavender gets confused, but is resilient unlike my tulips or irises. (Sad spring for them) This year our winter was strange, and warmer with fewer storms and not a lot of moisture, but time keeps ticking. I do believe myself and other lavender growers will have an earlier bloom this year. We shall see.

It’s Earth Day today, and my Grammys birthday.. we got some rain and hail in the valley, which pretty much kept my bees inside clustering. It’s always so pretty when it storms here. Today, one side of the valley was sunny while the other side was pouring rain. All of these photos were taken at the same time, and you can see the difference in the sky. The third photo is facing North, while the others are facing East.

Yesterday in between all of our chores from being gone for the weekend, we installed three new packages of bees, and checked on the baby birds in the nest.

The new bees seem to be loving their new homes, and the baby birds are growing so fast! I counted five babies, maybe six though? how many do you see?

I love that the lavender field brings so much life to the property.

What a controversial topic. — an intimidating thought. My personal stance on AI is a hard no. “Oh but it helps out so much in business”. “We can’t live without AI now”… New Flash, you can, and you can still run a business without it also.

I am a business that sticks to my authenticity and the beauty that surrounds me. I get my inspiration from nature and the people I surround myself with. You will never find any AI when it comes to Deeply Rooted, and I have pride stating that. 🌿

I don’t need creepy AI to help me out with questions, posters created for me, or to ask Chat GBT to make me a character on how it thinks it knows me. I already know who I am. That trend is disturbing. It makes me feel sad that we live in a world where people feel the need to jump on it because of curiosity and everyone else is doing it, too. —It’s gone way too far.

I see so many businesses using artificial intelligence for so many things, and I ponder on the thought of, will any of it be real in five years.. I sure hope so. Just because it’s convenient and easy, doesn’t mean it’s best.

I talk to God about this all the time, and I give people Grace who do use it. I pray people start to understand the true heartbreak of it. You don’t need artificial intelligence to help you be intelligent.

The lavender and rosemary in January 🌿🤍

The lavender has seemed to enjoy these warmer days we have been having this winter. Typically by this time of year, in my region & my experience of growing since 2019, the plants look brittle and dead but aren’t. This year the leaves have stayed green and they are still growing… that just racks my brain and gets me thinking; does this mean we will have a cooler spring and push the plants back for harvest? Or, will this mean an earlier harvest for Deeply Rooted? Time will only tell.

A little tiny dusting of snow in the lavender this morning, it was a beautiful sight.

It’s been a busy year of; harvesting lavender, making product, selling product, baking in the oven, tending to my bees, harvesting honey, traveling, and a whole lot of love. 2025 has wrapped up to be a year I will cherish for a lifetime. From January to December there has been so much that happened, and for a brief moment this morning when I was reflecting, I was still trying to figure out how I accomplished it all. But then I remembered, it’s just what I do, and God wouldn’t give me anything I couldn’t handle. 🤍
