Lots of projects going on at the same time. Goats are due to start kidding in January, training pups for friends, building new shelters and repairing fences the neighbors cattle keep tearing down.

I have taken the better part of the last 12 months staying off of Facebook. It was such an enjoyable break it's hard to come back. I missed my friends dearly, but absolutely needed the time to concentrate on the farm and health.

Ballista facing the camera, her mamma Pumba warming her preggie belly in the fresh spent grains with Ballista's babies hiding behind her. Big Mamma should be due in Feb with Mangalista x LB shoats, the grey and white potbelly is due in January with Mangalista shoats, the black and white potbelly is learning to enjoy butt rubs. Patti is just happy to no longer be confined with these nasty creatures as she is most certainly "not a pig" and is trying to be allowed in the house with the other dogs...

No ears (LB x Duroc) looks to be pregnant by Hambone (Kune Kune) and we decided to keep back 3 of Pete's last litter.

Ballista has not quite forgiven me enough to let me near her kids after I stole all of them to move them to safety while she was getting breakfast when they were 24 hours old.

It's molting season.  The entire bird area and acres around it looks like the birds exploded.
