Acadian Acres Farmstead Acadian Acres was established in 2023 in Colorado.

Our philosophy is to give our livestock as much space as they could ever want, with the best quality clean feed they can eat, so that they can live a calm and worry-free life.

Shout out to the LGDs out there being the goodest puppers ever!!

Thor is incredible. We got him and our other dog, Winnie, for free and they have proven to be the best livestock guardian doggos.

This heifer is Suzie. She is the sweetest little girl and loves her scratches. If you can't tell, she's a hereford/highland mix. We have her mom, who is a highland. She is also amazing. Suzie will be a year old on April 1. She's our youngest girl here. ❤️

I think most of us can say the last week was freezing. This was on our worst day and the little cutie piglets were determined to find crumbs in their bowl from earlier. I guess they have built up enough insulation... 😆

After being animal stewards for a minute, we blinked twice and now we are here. We went on a journey because we wanted to know where our food was coming from. We wanted our children to learn lessons and skills that they would not be able to get anywhere else. Our animals should live the life they are supposed to, and it shouldn't be a prison. If we remove the stressors, does it show in the final product? That is what we asked ourselves, and it is what our friends ask, as well. This year, we will be providing fresh eggs, chicken, and pork to the Colorado Springs area. We will post here when items will be available. For now, join us on our journey through the trials and tribulations, from our home to your table.
