This month, let’s celebrate Dairy — from milk and cheese to yogurt, to strong bones and immune systems to happy palates! Not all dairy is created equal. We are proud to offer raw milk herd shares. It’s worth the hard work to bring the best quality dairy to our local community.

What better way to celebrate dairy month than by joining our herd share?! Miss Maple the Milk Cow is producing like crazy, and we're happy to be able to open up TWO more spots in our herd share! Members get special pricing on meat items in a private online store as well as access to products only available to members of the herd!

Continuing the celebration of Dairy month with mint chocolate chip ice cream and more butter!! I love using Maple's peak production to put butter in the freezer for the "lean times" of milk, at the end of lactation and during the dry period. I used up all but a pound of butter I froze from last year during her dry-off!

Corn on the Cob is a memory-jogger for most folks! From church potlucks to BBQs and picnics, corn on the cob has a place in our memory banks.

I remember as a kid LOVING to eat corn on the cob because I got to use those cute little stakes to hold it on either end! Grilled and slathered in butter is my absolute favorite way to eat corn on the cob!

One of our customers recently said that they didn't purchase thighs/legs because the value of the breast is better given that it doesn't have the bone in it. We happened to be cooking thighs for dinner and decided to weigh the bones. That's 0.8oz of bone and our thigh packages average 1.75lbs! That's still a lot of meat! If this has been your hesitation for not getting thighs, then worry no more! It's still a fantastic deal!
