Had the best time planning the ultimate Sicily adventure for the lovely The Ainsty Wapentake ♥️🍷

Dear Lexi, Lizzi and the Team,

On behalf of The Ainsty Wapentake Supper Club, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for turning our ideas, hopes and wishes for a trip to Sicily into such a fabulous reality.

From the very first conversations through to the final details, your enthusiasm, organisation and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the journey exceeded our expectations. I spent the last few days exploring Southern California’s wine country with Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association, and these are just a few highlights from the week!

Temecula is one of those places that has something for everyone — with 47 wineries (and 24+ varieties grown), a handful of relaxing resorts, and plenty of adventure (think: hot air balloon rides, motorcycle sidecar tours, and more). It feels like a little wine country oasis in the heart of SoCal.

Whether you live here in SoCal and can make it a day trip, or you stay for a long weekend, here’s a little itinerary inspo for your next visit to Temecula✨

Save this for your next trip to Paso Robles🍷

When I ask people what their favorite wineries are in Paso, I often hear the same three big names…but if you love hidden gems and small wineries, this is the itinerary for you.

is a boutique, family-owned winery making low intervention wines that are unique and incredibly refreshing. If you’re open to trying something new, I’d highly recommend their “Funky Fridays” tasting (on Saturdays now too), which allows you to taste beautiful expressions of rare varieties (think: Cabernet Pfeffer, Muscat Canelli, Valdiguié, and more).

is another small winery with a stunning tasting room on the westside of Paso. They focus on Rhône-style wines, and they have something for everyone (make sure you try the Brut Rosé). Their patio is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Add in some of my favorite restaurants and you have yourself an ideal day in Paso Robles☺️
