I hope you try this one.
Well if you ever find yourself in Galveston TX .
The Cajon Greek is now on my list of have to visit places when we are in Galveston.
Again it my kind of place because there is only one location.
First of all please know Greek is a favorite Seafood is a favorite now ad Cajun.
This place has all of the above.
I’m not usually into menus that are all over the place, but .
Lunch Specials are $9.99
And includes offerings like
Gumbo and a salad of choice.
Fresh Catfish and a side my choice homemade coleslaw.
Or keep it Greek with the Gyro 🥙
They have other Greek offerings too like lamb chops, mediterranean shrimp .
Have I mentioned Seafood.
From po boys of many fresh caught choices.
To redfish, flounder,shrimp,snapper, snow crab claws and oysters any way you want them.
As for the Cajun side boudin balls,
Crawfish, boil pot , pick your level of spiciness.
I hate too end with starters but everything is a winner but shrimp stuffed jalapeños is pretty good.
All that and a full bar.

So normally I tell you of my travels and that great eaten spot you should try. But I want to tell you about a place right here in Zanesville. A place that, if I didn’t live here, I would travel here to eat at.
Muddy Misers is veteran-owned and operated.
So my go-to is the Walleye Ruben and or seafood chowder depending on how hungry I think I am.But I’m also going to tell you that the daily special is not just thrown together.
They are plates hardly ever found in any other restaurant in the villa.
The patio has by far the best dining view of any place around.
Muddy Misers holds a historic look in to the area and our most famous novelist Zane Gray and even serving up a few of his recipes.
The owners and staff are really great and super fun.

So in my recent travels I made stop at one of my old favorite restaurants.
Skipper’s fish camp in Darian Georgia.
Just off I 95 .
It isn’t at the exit you have to go in town just minutes from the highway.
A little hidden but worth the treasure hunt.
And boy it’s a treasure.
It’s a locals place but visitors are very welcome.
Located right on the water way you’ll notice the fishing boats out back that supplies the restaurant and area with
Shrimp flounder and much more.
They offer BBQ steaks and amazing onion rings.
But I never get past the fresh seafood.
My appetizer choices are either raw oysters, gator bites or Brunswick stew.
Main fresh flounder or the that sweet George shrimp on a hoagie, the platter or one of the combos.
So get your pic in the over sized chair and say hello to the turtles.

Now that’s good groceries. Enjoy travlers

Ok foodie fans I’m breaking my own rule.
Frenchy’s Outpost Bar and Grill is one of a few multi location restaurants.
I also have been to their Clearwater Beach location.
So normally I’m going to share one and only restaurants .
This one gets a pass on that rule.
Beach Florida vibe with great food.
You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.
But here my picks.
Jalapeño hush puppies or fish dip spread for starters.
Then fish tacos , seafood potpie, crab claws again anything on the menu will not disappoint.
But go to is the fresh grouper I’m telling you the sandwich is super yummy .
You can get it several ways fried, Cajun
Jerk style, grilled .
So if you find yourself in Clearwater or Tampa just go.
Now that’s some good groceries.

Hi folks Chuck here as many of you know I like food.
As I traveled I have found those hidden gems . You know the places the locals all call their own.
Many of my friends will tell you that if mention a place they are going to visit.
I will fire back with a local restaurant that they have try .
For my very first post I’m going to make this easy for many of you and stay close to home.
Hometown Hotdog in Millersport Ohio
Is the one place that just makes my day better.
The always happy and friendly staff are part of the reason I keep going back.
When I walk in they know my order.
Two coney dogs mustard onion Hot .
Fried mushrooms or those fresh cut French fries.
Breakfast is amazing
But the homemade soup’s, cakes are amazing.
Im giving this place a 9 out of 10
Only because Jake doesn’t have t shirts for sale in my size .
Hometown Hotdogs now that’s good groceries . Enjoy
