First All American Junior Sheep Show was a great experience. Valerie and Pearl rose to the top. Meredith drove Nova, Payton and Peter Pan to top 5 in class. Nathaniel and Poppy and Pluto did great. Valerie and Meredith also placed top 10 in Judging, Valerie was top 10 Skillathon, and Nathaniel did great for his first try at a Skillathon. The friendships and ringside camaraderie were top notch. Thank you to everyone who has helped us continue to grow in this journey... it takes a village!

It may be hot but these kids are on fire! Hard work has been paying off in showmanship... Nathaniel was Reserve 🥈 5 yr old, Valerie was Reserve 🥈10 yr old, Meredith was 5th 12 yr old, then they tried out pairs and Nathaniel and Valerie were top 3 in 16 and under combined, and Meredith and Valerie won 🏆 21-22 combined class. Breed shows the next two days. Fun cheering on NC families and making new friends.

As the red dust settles, we are proud of everyone who participated in the Sheep and Goat Round-Up. Could not be more proud of our lambs, kids, and extended show families showing Picole Farm genetics. Many kids are new to sheep and/or to Dorsets and they did amazing. Here are a few highlights...
Meredith with Payton took Grand Champion Purebred Ewe and Grand Champion Dorset ewe.
Meredith with Pandora took Reserve Champion Dorset Advantage Ewe.
Meredith with Peter Pan were 2nd in White Face Influence Market Lamb (class 3)
Meredith and Nova 1st Dorset Yearling Ewe.
Valerie was 4th in Junior Sheep showmanship. Valerie was 2nd in Junior Skillathon.
Valerie and Pearl were Reserve Champion Dorset Ewe and 1st in class.
Valerie and Plumeria were 2nd in class Dorset Ewe Lambs .
Valerie and Pascal were 1st in White Face Influence Market Lamb (class 4).
Valerie and Nancy 2nd Yearling Ewe.
Nathaniel and Poppy were 2nd in class Dorset Ewe Lambs (early spring).
Nathaniel and Pluto were 3rd in White Face Influence Market Lamb (class 2).
Nathaniel and Pumpkin were 3rd in Dorset Ewe Lambs.
Reserve Champion Purebred Ewe, Champion Dorset Advantage Ewe sired by Picole Farms raised and shown by Mazie Bunn.
1st place class 2 White Face Influence Market Lamb sold to Madison.
Champion commercial White Ewe- Yearling Ewe sold to Liam in 2025.
Also super proud of Nolan, Charli, Kimber, Kate, and Brantley for their successes too.
