STRAWBERRY CRUNCH CHEESECAKE CONES
*Ingredients:
+The Cone and the Crumble:
°12 sugar cones
°20 crushed vanilla Oreos
°8 tablespoons of butter
+Filling:
°16 ounces of cream cheese
°½ cup) sugar
°2 tablespoons powdered sugar
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°8 oz Fresh Whip
+The strawberries:
°1 lb fresh or frozen strawberries
°½ cup) sugar
°¼ cup lemon juice
°¼ cup cornstarch
°2 tablespoons of water
+The Frosting:
°2 cups powdered sugar
°5 tablespoons of milk
°½ teaspoon of vanilla
*Instructions
Crumble
Finely crush the Oreos in a food processor. Stir in melted butter and pulse to combine. Place in a baking dish and bake at 375F for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and toss in a packet of Strawberry Jell-O
Cheesecake filling
Add 16 ounces of cream cheese to your mixing bowl and beat over high heat until light and fluffy.
Once your cream cheese is puffed, mix together ½ cup sugar, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, and 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract. Mix very well.
Mix 8 ounces of Cool Whip. Mix again until everything is combined.
Strawberries
You can choose to add strawberries to your cheesecake cones in two ways. The first option is to use fresh, washed, hulled and sliced strawberries. Then place the slices of fresh strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle them with sugar.
The other option is to create a simple strawberry frosting. Place your strawberries in the pan and put on medium heat. While your strawberries are warming up, add 1/2 cup sugar, ¼ cup lemon juice, 2 tablespoons water, and ¼ cup cornstarch. Mix all of the ingredients together.
Cooking on heat, stir constantly. Once your mixture has started to thicken, you can remove it from the heat and turn off your burner.
icing
Combine 2 cups powdered sugar, 5 tablespoons milk and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract in a medium bowl.
Assembly
Dip the ice cream cones in the frosting so that the top part is covered with frosting. Then roll your cone in the crumbs so your cone is evenly coated. Place them as they are done on a cookie sheet and let them dry.
Once the cones are dry, it's time for the cream cheese filling. Next, pipe the cream cheese into the cones, this is your cheesecake base.
Drizzle the strawberries on top. Or if using fresh strawberries, place the strawberry pieces with the cream cheese.
Finally, drizzle the entire cone with icing.
Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
