Patience isn’t passive. It’s the work we do while we wait.
I’m choosing to rethink timelines lately— How we are trained to set them and how they rarely follow our process or life - How something can feel overdue, then wind up being right on time simultaneously.
With SHÕGA GARDENS, I’m learning the prototype process is like fermentation. Finding the right silhouette, details, fabrics and partners needs time to test gear, purpose and relationships.
The vision is clear, but wavy paths reveal themselves with unique rhythms.
In the meantime, in between prototyping, I play with sound—crafting things that exist somewhere between songs and diary entries. They’re unpolished - I gently tweak forward what draws me in.

To build trust with the signals, I listen and act daily - a note here , a few moves during lunch - anything to keep the channel between the universe and me open. Devotional. Creation as an offering. Creation as conversation. 🌱
Sometimes the best thing we can do for what we're building is to stay in motion elsewhere. Trust the germination period.
Trust that while we’re tending to one thing, another is quietly taking root.
Timelines unfold in life rather than via a spreadsheet. I’m learning to work with it, not against it.
