One year ago today we said our final “I love you mom. I’ll see you again real soon!” The hope my family and I have of seeing mom again healthy, happy and just as beautiful as always is very real and strong to us. This hope doesn’t make the pain from her loss any less, we still cry for her, sometimes uncontrollably. Dad was obviously hit the hardest when his “best girl” took her final breath, so if you can, please make a special effort just to see how he is today. How are you, my aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and brother(s)? I love you all. Let’s remember mom today with happiness, not tears!
