Hey everyone, anyone need a daily pick-me-up?

Y'all hear of MudWater, Rize, mushroom coffee blends? I've tried 15 of them and well, they didn't lie, they mostly tasted like MUD. I'm Beta testing my own blend, it tastes like a well-balanced Mocha and doesn't taste like mushrooms (guaranteed). If you'd like to try mine please DM me.

Ava said she wants to be a professional artist when she "grows up". I said, "Honey you're already a better artist than most fully grown humans." Shes amazingly talented, and has more patience than any child her age ive ever met... so proud of Ava Jean!

This cabin fever is really starting to get to everyone, therefore I wanted to make everyone feel good. Braised Waygu shortribs with a puree and demi glaze.

Ive never done this before but I took all of the veg and potatoes from the Braised short ribs and pureed it with heavy cream and butter. It was so good....

I'm gonna give you a simple recipe that everyone needs to try.

Shakshuka sauce (this can be used for pasta sauce, shakshuka eggs, lasagna sauce, or just tomato soup):

One large can of San Marzano tomatoes
1can San marzano tomato sauce
2 sweet Vidalia onions cut in half and studded with a couple of cloves
Hand full of fresh tarragon or basil
2 cups chicken stock
1 stick of butter
1/tablespoon sugar
The green tops of 3 leeks washed and diced
Salt and pepper

Melt butter in med. Large. Sauce pan put in studded onions cut side down in butter and sauteed, add leek tops, and brown everything for 10/min. Add all the rest of the ingredients and simmer for an hour with the pan top slightly off letting steam out. Pull off, take cloves out, and puree all smooth. Watch out, pureeing hot ingredients can be explosive pass through screen if you want it super smooth. If its too thin reduce on stove a little longer.

For tomato soup: add heavy cream

For pasta: cook pasta until al dente save 1/2 cup pasta water, put pasta in sauce and cook for 5 min. Add 1/2 pasta water and cook until desired consistency.

For assassin pasta: simmer pasta directly in sauce until cooked

For lasagna: reduce sauce until thick then use for your layers

Mirapoix
Caramelized onions and shallots
San marzano tomatos
Tomato paste
Coconut milk
Greek yogurt
Dill dip ranch
Tomato Jam
Stick of butter
Jalapeño raspberry jam
Honey
Hommade (pork/turkey/chicken) stock
Toasted: Garam marsala/turmeric/clove/beau monde/nutmeg/cumin/cayenne/cardamom

Double cooked and pureed with the Greek yogurt.
