Originally part of The Macallan’s acclaimed 1824 Series, Sienna was crafted to showcase the natural colour and cask influence that define the distillery’s style. Drawn entirely from sherry-seasoned oak casks, this expression takes its name from the rich sienna hue imparted by the wood.

A vibrant single malt, it sits between Amber and Ruby in the range, offering a perfect balance of elegance and intensity. With layers of fruit, spice, and oak, Sienna highlights The Macallan’s mastery of sherry cask maturation and remains a sought-after release since the 1824 Series was discontinued.

The Laphroaig Càirdeas 2025 release is the Lore Cask Strength, a limited-edition Islay single malt Scotch whisky unveiled during the Fèis Ìle festival on May 27, 2025. This expression is a cask-strength version of Laphroaig’s Lore, crafted by marrying five different cask types: ex-Bourbon, Oloroso sherry, European oak, and quarter casks.
