Catalan Wine Dinner to come on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 at Del Ray Cafe in Alexandria, VA.
We will showcase wines from 2 different wineries:
Nadal Hainaut (France) and Ivo Pages wines (Spain), both part of Catalonia, on each side of the border.

We are looking forward to our first wine dinner of 2024! One of our favorite hosts, Nicolas Dornic, Dechaunac Wine Imports, will be presenting wines from the unique Catalan region of France & Spain. Quick visit at Château la Tour de By in Médoc with Benjamin Richer de Forges, the GM.
The view from the old lighthouse, built in 1825, is really worth it as you can contemplate a 360 degree view with vineyards all around.
This property of 120 hectares offers Merlot/Cabernets blends most of the time.
Wines are really well made and represent well the Médoc region with structure and finesse.

Short visit at one of my top producers, Château Croix de Labrie, in Saint Émilion.
Château Croix de Labrie makes excellent wines and was recently upgraded "Grand Cru Classé "in 2022,
which is a big deal today in this vicinity of Bordeaux.
Small production, Burgundian style
of managing plots etc...
Great wines, great story and a nice hospitality
