Spartacus is growing out to be a very handsome lionhead buck with perfect ears, conformation, saddle and colouring! I am so happy that he originated from some of my original lines - sir Munchalot aka Munchie (his great grandfather)and the sweetest girl Marlie (his great great grandmother). He is Perfect! Munchie and Marlie are shown in the last two pictures 🥰

Our little 5.5 month old Charlie 💙, he is the sweetest Lil man! Those ears!! Honestly, they sit on top of his head lol he holds them to the side when he is curious or in a new environment, like in these pictures .. he is such a handsome boy who is a whopping 1.28 pounds 🥰

I dont even know what to say tonight. Today we lost one of our icons, one of our original netherland dwarfs, and the foundation of our ND program. I've had heart bunnies, but this girl...yes, she was the queen of heart bunnies and sadly she is now gone. Truffles, I am so sorry, you bounced back and I thought you were going to be ok, but sadly the universe didn't agree. You fought with every ounce of your sweet little being, but your suffering was too much to bare. I love you my sweetest girl, I'm so sorry my little doll, I loved you too much to see you suffer any longer. You were here on earth for over 8 years and one of the reasons I kept on with raising bunnies. You fought soo hard, I just hope you know how much I loved you and how hard today's goodbye was 💔💔💔

Hoppy Acre Charlie! This boy is a tiny 1.34 pounds at 5 months old! He has the best temperament and loves all the attention he can get! I am still on the fence about keeping him for our breeding program but I am still hopeful that his head will catch up to his tiny ears! His ears are only 1.15 inches but look alot bigger on his lil head lol! Fingers crossed as he is our first chocolate tort! HOPPY ACRE THEO X HOPPY ACRE SCARLET BABY!

Meet Hoppy Acre Smudge! This is our 8 week old grow out pedigreed netherland dwarf who will definitely be staying with us! This girl is the perfect whole package! Not only is she beautiful, she is also the sweetest and funniest lil girl ever! She loves to be cuddled and is quite the inquisitive lil one who has endless binkies! Her little ears are only 3/4 of an inch even though it's hard to see in the photos !! I am so in love with her!!! BEAR X NIBLET BABY!

The most versatile meat that we have raised! We have made Italian sausages, hamburgers, traditional style baked and now donair meat! Absolutely delicious and much lower in fat than traditional donair meat as we used our home raised rabbits! I am so happy we chose this journey with meat rabbits, so far has been so worth it! I love knowing exactly what we are eating. Bonus - I use everything left over (bones, meat on the bones) to feed the dogs and make them a healthy nutrient packed bone broth - Win win!!

We welcomed this gorgeous lionhead buck home today! The Lil gnomestead Spark aka Spartacus! I know I tried to move away from the lionheads a couple of years ago, but they are seriously my favourite breed so I couldn't stay away!!!! I cannot wait to watch this boy grow! The best 8 hour drive lol!!!! Bonus - he traces back to my original breeding lines!!!! 🥰
