A sneak peak at the hard scape before water and plants were added to the new 4ft.
I'm just waiting for things to settle and clear so I can take a photo of the finished product. Fish should be able to go back in later tonight as I'm reusing a lot of old hard scape, plants, water and the same filtration just slghtly upgraded. Basically just a fresh tank and substrate which I'll seed from the old tank.

The female Betta was being chased off today so was removed from the breeding tank. Dad is doing a good job caring for his eggs.

Say farewell to my 3ft display tank as tomorrow it gets torn down and upgraded to a new 4ft!

This was the first aquarium I set up anew when I moved in to my current residence just over 3 years ago. By now the substrate is fully worn out and I'm propping it up with root tabs and liquid fertilizer. Time for a re-boot!

8-10 week old Rams... including my first Black Rams that are already pre-booked.
My first Longfin Sunshine Gold Rams are in this mob alongside some normal Gold Rams and Longfin Blue Rams.
Another 3-4 months and these Rams will be ready to move on.

OK I'm pretty sure the Betta are spawning tonight, judging by the random eggs all over the place.

This pair is so chilled out. I'm really keen to catch an egg release on camera for the first time.

A lovely school of seven display size Colombian Tetras and a colony of six young Multies Dwarf African Shell Dwellers have left my website today and moved down to Devonport @ Pleasuretime Aquariums in the Hub Arcade.

Hit me up if you're interested in these fish but are not in the area. I am happy to help facilitate overnight delivery, Tasmania wide, if they haven't left the store already.

More of my Tassie bred Longfin Blue Rams, Sunshine Gold Rams and Endlers were also stocked up today. It's great to see my babies appreciated and finding new homes quickly.

A new strain of Endler soon to be released in a couple of months... the Tassie Tiger Endler.

Developed right here in Tasmania and derived from the original Tiger Endler everyone thought it a fitting name.

The female Betta has been introduced to the breeding tank. They look so good together and if you ask me rather smitten with each other. The male is rather casual about the whole situation still but at least he's not showing any aggression so far which is fantastic. .. see what happens next.
