13 Hens Farm It all started with 13 hens. With that came the dream that we could have a few chickens

When we moved to Maple Valley in 2018 we came with the ideal of finding a home with land so that our kids could experience the joy and freedom of growing up in nature.

As often happens with farming, things dont always go as planned. My first round of baby bok choi bolted before they matured. The silver lining is that our ducks just love bok choi!

Phew! A grand total of 321 tomato plants are in the ground! Now the long game of waiting and pruning begins :-)

Don't forget! The Lake Wilderness Arboretum plant sale is tomorrow and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Its a great way to support the Arboretum and get access to a whole host of unique plants. We will be there as usual with our Tomatoes, Peppers and Squash starts :-)
