Today (as the weather permits) we will take a taste meets history trip to one of my favorite countries that I'm keen on visiting, Ireland! We are making Irish Soda Bread!
Here's a quick fun fact. The cross on the soda bread has several explanations. Legend has it that folks did it to "let the devil out" while it's baking, for good luck. It was also a symbol for the cross during the Christian holidays.
