A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed a scoop and supported the amazing artisans at The Annual Herb Society of America New York Unit Herb Fair at the beautiful Caramoor 🍨❤️

We’re so grateful for every smile, every conversation, and kind word that came our way. Your support means more than you know and helps keep our little business scooping! If you’ve never attended this event be sure to follow the NY Herb Society so you don’t miss it next year. It’s truly a unique and special experience.

Extra special thank yous to the guests who remembered us from last year and came looking for us -it means the world! We look forward to seeing you again!

Perhaps you haven’t noticed it yet….
More and more food products are now using “chocolatey” ingredients to suggest there is actually chocolate in the recipe.
There is NOT! 👹
Sweets, cookies, cereals, granola bars, and yes, even ice cream, are using “chocolatey” coatings or crunches or chips.
But, what’s the difference?
SO GLAD YOU ASKED!

REAL chocolate requires chocolate liquor and cocoa butter derived directly from cacao beans. “Chocolatey” or “chocolate-flavored” products substitute cocoa butter with processed vegetable fats like palm kernel oil.
Because they replace expen$ive cocoa butter with cheaper vegetable oils, they fail to meet the legal definition of chocolate and are therefore “chocolatey”.
You will ✨never✨ find pseudonymgreients in my ice cream.
Only real chocolate 🍫

⬇️ Drop Preppin’
Last summer I tried this with a commercial rhubarb puree and it told me to go F myself.
This time I am using fresh organic rhubarb from my parent’s garden. I think it will be much more polite than the French stuff.
Anyway, this one will only be on the drop. Super limited. So you gotta sign up on hotplate.
Link in bio. Kthanks. 🙃 🍓 😘

I am Team Butterscotch all day. Buttery, brown sugary, a little salty, a lot more depth of flavor IMO.
I will die on this hill. ☝️
Who remembers the Butterscotch Pudding from Fat Cat Pizza?
I still dream about it 💭
Butterscotch is my jam, which is why you will find it in my ice cream *and* in my dreams.
Happy Sunday! It’s Sunday, right? 🤔
Go eat some ice cream. ☮️❤️🍨
