Happy and a huge congratulations to whose 1872 Porter has been today crowned Champion Beer of Britain at The Great British Beer Festival! We were lucky enough to sample some at the fantastic Great Exhibition of Prize Ales earlier this year and there's no doubt it was a worthy winner! Hopefully there will be some left by the time we get to Olympia on Friday!!

Great night at the Roses match last night despite it being bloody freezing. Find it sad that we have all these amazing breweries in Yorkshire, but they continue to sell crap beer at Headingley. There's no real excuse tbh.

We'll be helping out the Cornish breweries as it's coincided with a long overdue week off and a trip to Cornwall ( we're coming for you!) but it hasn't stopped us throwing a couple of mini casks from those good folk up the road at into our luggage 😉

You should definitely get yourself down to over the bank holiday weekend - not only is it a super chilled spot with delicious beer, but those fine fellas from are banging out some delicious food 🤘
