It’s a very exciting day today here on the farm!!!
We are steam distilling a new Angustifolia cultivar for the first time💜
Maillette is in the still!!
As any grower knows , you build serious relationships with your plants, based on their growing habits, performance and beauty!!
Last year, Maillette went through her teenage years and was a bit of a mess as my good friend Starr Holmes can attest!!
This year she has matured into a stunning beauty!!
After reading Audrey’s post Sleepy Creek Lavender Co. , I knew we had to get her precious essential oil, which has one of the highest concentrations of 2 key terpene compounds which make up an outstanding oil- linalool and linalyl acetate!!
