Is Pisco from Peru? , has officially recognized the Peruvian origins of Pisco this past December. Manuscripts from 1587 to 1613 were discovered in the basement of the Peruvian National Archives where they mentioned the production of a grape brandy that was produced and exported, at the time, the beverage was a distilled spirit, later called Pisco. ¿El pisco es de Perú? La UNESCO, ha reconocido oficialmente el origen peruano del Pisco el pasado mes de diciembre. En los sótanos del Archivo Nacional del Perú fueron descubiertos manuscritos de 1587 a 1613 donde se mencionaba la producción de un aguardiente de uva que se elaboraba y exportaba, en aquella época la bebida era un aguardiente destilado, luego llamado Pisco. ¡Salud por el y el pisco! ¡Disfruta de nuestro galardonado Pisco en una tienda cerca de ti!

On October 25, 2024, and hosted a at the Peruvian Embassador's residence. Many were on hand for the Pisco Tasting as well local establishments and personal that do there part in commercialization of our national spirit. 1) Peruvian Ambassador, Alfredo Ferrero Diez Canseco 2) organizer and Pisco expert, Glendon Hartley, 3) Emilio Vega, counselor of the Peruvian Embassy, 4) marketing professional & expert, 5) , made a "Jungle Buck" with ALPISCO, 6) liquor expert .of.ounces , 7) , Washington DC Peruvian restaurant. It was a pleasure and privilege to be a part of this event.
