Old Shepherds Farm Old Shepherds Farm provides fiber for hand spinners and fiber fanatics. We raise natural colored cormo, merino and long wool sheep in Bedford Va.

Fleece and natural colored yarn, as well as hand dyed yarns, are available.

Lambing has begun at Old Shepherd’s Farm with the arrival of our new to us project lambs. A very warm and excited hello to the first of our Clun Forest/BFL mule lambs that will be the foundation of our program. I was already in awe of the BFL crosses on our other ewes, but these Clun ewes have really gotten me excited about this project. I can’t say enough good things about this breed, excellent mothers, easy lambing and very hardy. Now, if they were only easier to get our hands on they would be perfect!
