Thankful for cows that enjoy harvesting their own meals in the summer so we can make hay for winter 🐮 🚜

Switching the cows and calves to new paddocks every couple of days is a bit stressful as we watch the calves run around finding their boundaries (and we are left praying they see the surveyors tape so they’ll stop 🫣😂)

They enjoy this brush almost as much as the momma cows do 😊

In case you drive by and notice a horse in the sheep and chicken pasture, meet Bill. He came here early in the winter. Maizy and Bud refuse to share their pasture with him so he’s hanging out with Ollie and the girls.

We sent our honey out to be analyzed to see what flowers our bees make their honey with and it’s like they painted a picture of our farm with their honey. Our bees love the different parts of our farm as much as we do-from the basswood trees in our wooded areas to the clovers in and around our hayfields and all the way up to the sunflower and cornfields. As the littlest of the animals we care for, they really are some of the most amazing. 🐝 Jonah Ventures
