The chicken tenders were definitely tendering!!!!!! Man oh man! These arent Chili’s honey chipotle tenders…THEY MINE! Lmao recipe below:
Ingredients
4 pounds of tenders (thats how much I USED)
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground mustard
1 tsp white pepper
1/2 tbsp salt
2 large eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup hot sauce
Mix all the above together in a large bowl and let it sit for 5 hours. To a large bag, get 4 cups of flour and double (or triple) the seasoning above. Dredge chicken and fry in 350 degree oil for 7-9 minutes. Let drain on a wire rack.
For sauce:
1 7oz jar of chipotle peppers (in adobo sauce)
1 cup chicken broth
12 oz of honey (more for a sweeter, stickier sauce)
Blend chipotles and broth until smooth. Drain until the seeds are out. Add to a sauce pan with a tablespoon butter. Cook for 2 minutes and then add honey. Cook until sauce gets to the consistency you like. Sauce up the tenders and enjoy! #kimmyskreations #chickentenders #honeychipotle #appetizers
