I used to think you could just pour Zobo leaves straight into the pot and start cooking. That’s exactly how I was taught!

But when I decided to wash my Zobo leaves first, I was shocked by the amount of sand and dirt that came out. 😳

That’s one of the reasons I hardly buy ground or already-cut Zobo leaves. You never know if they were properly cleaned before grinding.
