✨Be someone for someone who needs it✨

Some good friends of ours at CityWide Impact have started a nonprofit dedicated to serving our community and surrounding areas.

This summer (until July 19th) they’ve organized a “back to school” drive - collecting backpacks, school supplies, socks, shoes and hygiene items for students who’d otherwise go without the essentials.

The starting goal is to help 200 students start the year with the tools necessary for their success.
If you’re unable to make a donation, you can help spread the word by giving the page a like and sharing 💕

My grandma gave me this succulent weeks ago (maybe even months ago by now 😅), and it's been sitting ever since.

I really did have every intention of repotting it—which is why it had no pot and barely any soil left around the roots—but somehow it got shoved behind all my other plants.

A few days later, I noticed it was wilted and turning brown. I figured it was probably a goner. I still couldn't bring myself to throw it away, though. I thought maybe I could save it.

And yet... I still didn't repot it.

Weeks later, here we are.

Tipped over in an empty pot. Almost all the soil stripped away from its roots. Forgotten about.

And still, it kept reaching for the sun.

He never stays away from her long… she calls and then pays no mind as if she doesn’t actually care if he is there or not. He’s such a good man putting up with her attitude 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
