🚨New construction!! We are making great progress on our new barn!

Today was the day ! A couple of Amish men came out to the farm around 8 this morning to help up tare down the barn. In the pictures below, they first started taking off the medal siding and exposing the barn. Later on in the day they asked Roger to start pulling it down. Surely but slowly we ended the day with half of the barn still standing.

This barn was built around the turn of the century. We have decided to take it down and build a new one. The barn has a lot of history to it, with its hand-hewn beams and an old milking parlor. We’ve had a lot of animals come through this barn but it’s times to say goodbye 👋 stay tuned for more pictures!
