The spring around here is always high school and college musical production season. Usually we are all way too busy being involved directly in the productions to do much else, but I’m always sad that there’s never time to make some special cookies for my daughter’s high school production cast. This year, they presented Hadestown, Teen Edition, and it was absolutely phenomenal!! While there was again no time to make special cookies for show week, I got a second chance this week and provided cookies for a small reception celebrating the presentation of an awards check to Fillmore Central School’s drama department for winning 3rd/bronze for Outstanding Production of a Musical at Shea’s Wonder Awards this year!! 🎉 Way to go, FCS!!! 🎉 🎭 🔥 🌺

It’s been a busy (and rather overwhelming) spring! After a March filled with orders, our town was flash-flooded the week before Easter, including all around our house and right through our garage (check out the last two photos- my daughter was kayaking in our yard and what’s usually a meadow!). We are SO grateful to our community and work and church family here, who helped out in so many ways to help us clean up and recover from flood. We’re finally getting back to normal (well, as normal as a hugs fill out artists and musicians can get 😆), so I’ll just do a “photo dump” of this spring’s cookies catch up. Enjoy! 🥰
