Located in the Aegean coast of Turkey and established in 1864, the MAKARON
Farm and Orchard is historically known as being amongst the regions first
production sites of quality Macaroni pasta, via the usage of drum wheat grown in
its fields. With 1,250 acres of agricultural land and 150 acres of olive orchards, the
farm has since preserved its name, MAKARON / Macaronia. While the farm’s successful

production of various crops continues to date, its
10,000 olive trees, some dating back a hundred years, have been sourcing the
finest quality olive oil, repeatedly awarded in international competitions. While natural fertilization and quality pruning methods produce the finest olives
that are early harvested and handpicked only, the factory’s top quality milling,
filling and packaging systems, all imported from Tuscany/Italy, provide for an
operation that leaves nothing to chance in offering its customers an exceptionally
tasty, unusually pure and low in acidity (0.2-0.3%) extra virgin olive oil that has
been widely acclaimed worldwide.
