JadeButterfly Cakes A page about my adventure into the cake world. Based in London.

So the story goes... I was in the shops and saw a cooking book with a really pretty picture of a cupcake on the cover. I like pretty things, I like creating, I wasn't too into the baking part but I do like a challenge, basically I just wanted to recreate the photo. Many attempts at the baking later, as I thought it was important to get the base as good as the cover (detail is everything!), along

with images, tutorials online, in books and magazines, I found my new hobby! What started off as a few tester cakes on my poor/ lucky husband and children, gradually grew to making birthday cakes for family and friends then to orders of cakes for wedding and special events, and from the encouragement to venture into a business brings us to now. As my passion for creating beautiful, unique and edible treats continues to grow, I hope you will join me and share my journey into this new chapter....
