The Peanut Bureau of Canada was established in 1999 as the Canadian information office of the American Peanut Council, a non-profit trade association that serves as a forum for all segments of the U.S. peanut industry including peanut growers, shellers, brokers, peanut product manufacturers and suppliers of goods and services to the industry. However, the Peanut Bureau of Canada will remove any fan comments that meet any of the following criteria:
• are abusive, defamatory, threatening, racist or obscene;
• violate any law or regulation, or suggest illegal activity;
• infringe on any intellectual property rights of any person or entity;
• are unsolicited bulk messages (spam);
• attempt to solicit us or our fans;
• contain links to malicious software (phishing, spyware, etc.);
• are false or misleading in any manner;
• present a conflict of interest;
• contain links to any of the above; or
• are not in compliance with Facebook's Terms and Conditions. The Peanut Bureau of Canada reserves the right to remove comments that don’t abide by the guidelines. If an individual repeatedly violates the guidelines, that user will be blocked from posting in the future.
