Sooo I gotta admit when we picked the berries I cleaned them and put them in the freezer because I just didn't feel like dealing with them. But, boy it didnt change a thing because they were still just perfect.So I ended up making some of the best strawberries scones you ever had and a quick strawberry jam to go with in case someone needed a extra berry boost. These were loaded with strawberries picked from and topped with a vanilla glaze. You must add these to your Spring/Summer snack list and make sure u serve with ice cold sweet tea or lemonade

Just found out it's day. As a foodie and baker I think it was only appropriate to post. I grew up in the South so biscuits are apart of my culture and lifestyle. We probably eat biscuits at least once a week. Anybody else make and freeze their favorite breakfast foods at the beginning of the week? Like waffles, pancakes, or biscuits then heat them as needed. Try it! I promise it will improve your daily routine, morning mood, and possibly your life.Biscuits are incredibly easy to make especially since they are yeast less.Find a recipe, make sure you use good quality cold butter, make a batch and throw them in the freezer. In the morning grab one,heat it, drip some cane syrup, your favorite jam, or raw honey over it and watch a better day unfold.😊

I love this because the dream hasn't really changed. It has had road blocks, some detours, hurdles, slow times, pop ups, and even a few additions and manifestions of it show up along the way.But deep down the dream is solid. It holds true. It is the foundation. I have to believe that my dream is what God put in me to pursue and it is intertwined with my purpose. So this is the kingdom dream. To all the makers, creators, mom's, dads, business owners and everyone in between.Just know that the dream that keeps you awake at night, the one that keeps you moving forward and motivates you each day is the kingdom dream. This is the cross section of the best Brookie ( brownie cookie) I've ever had. Even though I must say this is more cookie than brownie. It turned out to be the perfect marriage of chewy texture to crisp edges and chocolate chips to macadamia nuts. I made this one in a cast iron skillet, it came out of the oven with just the right amount of soft center to be a pazookie(pizza cookie baked in a skillet for those who don't know) So I guess it's a Pazookie turned Brookie. 😂

Nonetheless. It was yummy.
