They told me there was no Puerto Rican food in Vietnam… so I made some. 🇵🇷✨

From my kitchen in Da Nang to a 3-HOUR SOLD OUT debut at the Global Soul Festival! 🏝️🔥 The smell of my signature sofrito and slow-roasted pernil (made with my favorites from AtlasGarden and fresh ingredients from local markets) led the way, and the response was more than I could have imagined.

To everyone who came out to Chef Mommy Rue—Gracias de todo corazón. This is just the beginning. 🥂

Family!! 🤍

My best friend and her kiddos came to spend time with us, so we wanted to make something very special since it was my daughter's birthday weekend!

My birthday was just a few weeks ago and I was gifted an awesome anime cookbook from a dear friend. The recipe was a "Pikachu Curry" so I followed it to the best of our ability. (i didnt have a Pikachu rice mold) BUT!! I did have bunnies and cats! 🤣

This was a time intensive recipe that Ill probably repeat on special occasion. 😮‍💨
