We’re thinking about teaming up with some other local farms and starting a CSA. Take the poll to help us decide which direction to go.

Our duckorations seen here enjoying the newly flooded pond 🦆💦 🌸Forest Flora Farm is trying to grow! In order to do that we need to prove to lenders and grantors that there is lots of demand for our eggs. Farm dump and updates 2025 version
🥚Hens are doing their annual wind down, so we have less available currently. We’re still doing weekly markets at on Saturdays, but get there early because we sell out quickly. The new hen round will be laying in early spring.
🐈‍⬛ One of our elder cats crossed the rainbow bridge, so we welcomed a new pair of tuxedos to pass on the white sock torch. They’re fun.
🌼 Planted a few hundred different kinds of narcissus (daffodil) bulbs. Don’t really know what we’re doing, but maybe you’ll see them at market in early spring, along with more eggs. Big ups to for helping us dig the trench.
🛒If any of our regular customers are experiencing food insecurity, please reach out however you’re comfortable. We want to help however we can. And if you’re a regular customer with means, please consider donating to a local food bank or helping a neighbor in need directly. Buy a dozen give a dozen? People are hurting and now’s the time to build community and help each other.

With winter solstice creeping closer, and our hens getting older, egg production is winding down for the winter, so we’re coming to market every other week. But fear not, the next gen flock is getting raised up fast and should be laying by early spring. In the meantime, our upcoming markets:

Summer dump and updates! 🌸🐕🐓🍎🌺
📆 We will NOT be at next Saturday 9/7, due to our kid’s birthday party! Dm or text if you’re a regular who needs eggs, we might be able to make it happen.
🏡 Forest Flora Farm moved! As most of you likely know, the farm moved from Doty to Rochester in the spring. Finally getting settled.
🍎This fall, we’ll begin harvesting and selling hawthorn berries and rose hips from our new property! If anyone is interested in either helping harvest or buying some, please reach out so we know to keep you in the loop!
