Last night the Huron County Holstein club held their annual breeders social where they released the results of their breeders cup competition. They have been allowing all breeds to enter their competition for 4 years now We entered 2 cows in each class again this year. Our 1st lactation animals were Gubelman Boxer Blue VG87 and Gubelman Octagon Kimmy VG85. Our second lactation entries were Gubelman Jonmar Detroit VG88 and Gubelman Kasper Cookie VG88. Our 3rd+ lactation entries were Gubelman Kingsley Darby EX92 just fresh the 5th time and Gubelman Olympic Kit Kat EX91.
We are excited to announce that Judge Chris Stevens selected Gubelman Jonmar Detroit, 1st in the second lactation class and Grand Champion! Thank you so much to the Huron County Holstein club for allowing us to enter our cows in this competition and congratulations to our fellow Huron county farmers on entering 58 great cows this year!

Gubelman Chanel Darkel A2A2 BB 2096gLPI is on her way to the Dare to Dream tag sale at Beslea!

Darkle is a full age senior calf, that will make a great 4-H project and a future brood cow for your farm! her pedigree is unique (Chanel x Kingsley x Assay)

She is sired by the german bull Chanel. Chanel is the only Chagall son to come to North America in very limited quantities. Chagall is currently the highest proven bull in Germany and never had any semen come to North America.
On Darkle’s maternal side we have the Dora/Devon family which produced cows like Katniss EX94-2E, Danish EX95-6E, Katie EX94-3E, Dominic EX94-5E amongst many other great brood cows. Darkle’s dam is a VG Kingsley with 315 BCA fat. Darkle’s maternal aunt Biver Dallas is EX92-3E with over 60’000kg 4.6% 3.7% to date. The second dam is a VG 88 Assay with 63’000kg 4.5 3.7. The third dam is EX91-2E then VG 86, EX-3E 86’000kg, VG 86 65’000kg, VG 86 53’000kg, EX-2E 84’000kg, VG 85 55’000kg, Devon EX90 62’000kg, GP 81 45’000kg, EX 53’000 kg.
