Are you frustrated by the ever-growing list of foreign-sounding ingredients on packaged food these days? The Real Food Scanner app allows you to scan the bar code of items in your pantry or at the grocery store to quickly and easily determine if they contain questionable ingredients that may be harmful to your health. The app gives the product a green, yellow, or red light based on the ingredients

list. If it is given a yellow or red light, the app highlights the ingredients and allows your to click on them for a description of why they may be harmful to your health. The singular purpose of this app is to instantly alert the user that a scanned food item does or does not contain controversial ingredients. This is a subjective test, using our own curated list of ingredients made in a lab, not in nature and generally thought to be unnatural for consumption. It is meant as a guide only. NOTE: The Real Food Scanner does NOT take into account food allergies, other food sensitivities, or medical conditions such as diabetes.
