prised if you get a serving of sassy with a side of classy too! Realizing I don’t fit any “box,” I anointed myself “Culinary Adventurist.” I’m a proud Pirate Girl… an East Carolina University alum, graduating with honors (a century ago) in Home Economics Education. Somewhat of an “evangelist,” I do love preaching about the goodness that grows in North Carolina and babbling about delicious products born here, new and old… and WILL remind you to . Speaking of old, I have managed to collect decades of experiences in culinary business management, coaching & consulting, recipe development and testing, food photography propping and styling, agri-tourism & culinary journalism, “SoWcial” media management, brand ambassadorship, cooking instruction, on-stage culinary entertaining, cooking contest judging, healthcare food management and more. Details about all that stuff can be seen on my LinkedIn profile at https://www.linkedin.com/in/wendyleighperry What might I do for YOUR company? I have been throwing food together to see what happens since Santa brought my first EZ Bake oven many Christmases ago. Along the way, I started throwing together shindigs and a few hootenannies too, featuring my nekkid food… and although I’m too damn old to offer catering services now, have fed many thousands my unique southern creations with the appropriate accoutrement long before those now making such things (and themselves) famous were even born! You might sometimes see me with Squash Blossom out and about… my cute little vintage camper. We have been spotted at festivals for my marketing and social media clients, at farmers’ markets doing nekkid throw cook’n demos, fling’n out backyard weddings, and at friend’s agri-tourism on site farm events. And wouldn’t you know it, I was the 1st personal chef in the Raleigh/Triangle market. Way back when, I created an association with international members that taught thousands how to become personal chefs too. AND wrote a 15 chapter educational manual that sits in the Library of Congress. As you can see, I don’t wear monotony well and need to change aprons often, which bodes well for my clients and their assorted needs. Where else can you find a gal who can create recipes for your product(s), style and photograph them, market on social media and in other ways and… write about it? Soooo, if you and your product, farm or small local business needs a culinary adventure, I just might be your gal.
