When I had my first baby, Sunny, in 2014, I became "that mom" who was a freak about feeding her organically, and heaven forbid a GMO ever touched her lips! Since then, I have calmed down a wee bit, but we do still strive to eat organic, unprocessed, whole foods as much as possible. I realized along the way that I was having a hard time finding wholesome snack foods that weren't overly processed and laden with preservatives to make them shelf-stable at the grocery store for goodness-knows-how-long (eew). Of course fresh fruits and veggies make the best snacks, but sometimes ya just want something different and fun! It started with Sunny Sunrise Cereal...(which most definitely doubles as a "snack" in our house!) After months of trial and error with that recipe, I landed on something that our whole family couldn't get enough of. I took baggies of it with us on playdates & would share it with friends, and enough of them told me that I should sell it...and the rest is history! SunnySnacks evolved into 4 product lines: Cereal, BubbyBalls Energy Bites, Trail Mix, and Hummus. I try to experiment regularly with different flavors in each product, so look for new flavor introductions frequently. I'm fully permitted by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) and can't wait to serve you and your family some healthy yummies! xo,
